Weird stuff I did as a kid:
-pretended to have an imaginary friend. I felt left out cuz everyone else seemed to have one. So I made one up and pretended to talk to her so people would think I had one even though I didn't.
-also pretended to have an imaginary dog cuz imaginary pets was a big thing in my area when I was little. I always felt bad lying about it, but I didn't want to admit I didn't have one.
-i don't think I understood as a kid that what imaginary friends really were. I thought they were actual people that only you could see. That you could see like a normal person or ghost or something. And since I couldn't see anything then that meant I didn't have an imaginary friend. So I pretended to be pretending to talk to someone. I dunno, maybe people did actually physically see their imaginary friends. I just know I pretended to have one.
-decided one day I loved 3 Musketeer bars. I didn't actually have any preference for any type of candy. But it was a question everyone asked (what's your favorite type of chocolate/candy). So I lied and just told everyone that it was 3 Musketeers. I honestly don't like them now thanks to people always getting me just that type of candy.
-once... When I was I think 16. I did this thing with scouts. You had to take a thing of toothpaste, and pour the whole thing out on a piece of paper! And than you were given a toothpick and told to put the toothpaste back into the tube... The lesson is about how you can say things super easily, and hurt someone without much effort, but recovery and fixing those mistakes is really hard. So it's best to watch what you say. However, I actually really enjoyed using that toothpick to put the toothpaste back in so much I kept doing it for a good couple hours later. Just... Sitting there putting toothpaste back in the tube with a toothpick. Completely happy with my life. The leader was a little concerned for me.
-i had a good year when I was 9 where I used the phrase "hold on to de horses people" anytime I wanted to say "hold on," "one sec," "one moment," etc. No one understood why, least of all me. But I loved that phrase with a passion and I honestly still do.
-for a while when I was 7 I really liked taking my sheet off my bed, getting underneath the sheet, and then putting the sheet back on my bed. So the fitted sheet is on the matress, and I am underneath the fitted sheet. It wasn't comfortable and was rather cold without a blanket. I hated not having a pillow. And I couldn't move a lot cuz the sheet would come undone. But I did it anyways because for what ever reason it was really important I do it.
Go head and add on your own weird kid things. (I don't spell check. So apologies).
