you’re laying on your bed, watching some tv and you hear the front door open.

you hear someone walk up the stairs and see kuroo just slowly open the door and he just looks so defeated and you know it’s just one of those days. you get up and hug him and take him to the shower and just kinda be in the moment with him. you scrub his scalp and make sure he’s all clean and whatever while planting kisses on his cheeks and shoulders

and then once you both are clean and changed you’ll put on a funny show or some lo-fi for background noise and just let him lay on your stomach while playing with his hair and like caressing his back and he’ll kiss your stomach and whisper a thank you and just drift off to sleep
