Thomas remembered hearing talk about the President wanting someone to be a personal bodyguard for his daughter, Samantha. She wanted to travel and explore so a big parade of bodyguards would draw unnecessary attention which was completely understandable. However, he didn’t anticipate that the President would choose him. 

If he were honest, he was excited because he could travel as well but he knew he had to protect Samantha which came first before enjoying the sites and sounds. 

The newly appointed bodyguard followed the President to meet Samantha formally. He was introduced as her new personal bodyguard and he stepped forward to give her a respectful nod. “If you need anything at all, I’m here at your service.

Archie was rather enjoying his night at the gallery, even if he was surrounded by people who could decide the start a firefight at any moment. Walking to examine the next picture, he stood beside a familiar face, “Good Evening, Samantha.”

                patience had never truly had a place in her repertoire, yet people often tested it; to a grave extent. getting a call from the underboss of the santiago mafia had not been on her days agenda yet she’s standing near the tree directed in the message, irritation flooding off the boss in overwhelming waves. moments from giving up & leaving, or giving a message with anything but politeness, hazel hues focus on the female; eyes narrowing as if her demeanor didn't convey the annoyance enough.

Europe was everything Thomas had wanted it to be. He did his duty as a bodyguard but he also took the opportunity to snap a few photos to document this wonderful time. It was nice to get out of Washington and Sam was probably glad to be on her own as well.

They grew a little closer throughout the trip and even got to hang out with each other without feeling like it was a chore. Thomas even suggested they go to a fancy Greek restaurant where they were recognized as a couple by the wait staff and played a long with it til they left. He had his arm around her as they walked down the pathway to the car. “That was a really good meal. I found my new favourite restaurant.” 

Thomas had opened the car door for her but he paused, dark eyes meeting her gaze. He leaned in quickly and kissed her. It took him a couple of seconds to realize that maybe that was a mistake so he pulled back. “Ahhhhhh shit. Shit. I didn’t mean-- I’m sorry Sam, let me just take you back to your room, okay?”

Thomas’ vision was blurry when he opened his eyes. Everything was very bright, almost unbearable, but with a few blinks he could open his eyes to see a woman in his line of vision. 

He grunted and rubbed his face. “Remember what? Where am I? I this is a hospital?” Thomas looked around to get a sense of what is going on.
