Ok, see, so do I, but sometimes I get to the back of the cake and I run into the mass of sugar that is the frosted back and I question my strategies and life choices.

I start at the pointy bottom end and move in to the frosted end and then move up a layer and repeat until I am at the last piece which is bracketed by top and side frostings.
I feel like this needs an illustration.

Yes.
Very reassuring. Some people don’t like cake. I don’t understand but some, when presented with cake, say, “No.” They don’t want it from the front, they don’t want it from the back, they don’t want it with a fork, they don’t want it with a spoon, just no. :(
