Just screaming into the void.

I really wanted to kill myself earlier. To be honest, I still do. Maybe not as much as I did earlier, but the feeling is still there, like a splinter in my brain. Everything hurts and I’m tired and I just don’t want to. 

I won’t kill myself, mostly because a) I’m an indoctrinated coward who fears any potential afterlife and b) I have work next week and they’d be really mad if they had to replace yet another person.

Still doesn’t stop me from wanting to, though.

omg I loved this so much!!! And it was hilarious that they might be slightly drunk, as their real life counterparts, lol!

I was totally thinking of the Tunisian Table Cleaner drink and its aftereffects. I initially had a little more background about how or why they had ended up drinking (because, why wouldn’t you just spend the last night having sex or sleeping), but it was distracting from the flow of the story and it wasn’t super relevant, so I took that out. (A couple hours after they went to sleep, Leia had a nightmare and couldn’t go back to sleep. She really wanted to get drunk because she just cannot with these, so they stayed up talking and drinking and finished off the Whyren’s.)

Aw, thank you, KR! Scoundress Saturday is quite inspirational, and it really helps the creative flow keep going if I can write a little something regularly. And somehow a lot of my stuff ends up in ESB land. It is my favorite of the movies, although I love them all.

If Gracie Cat is the front-kitty in this delightful ensemble, how does Squeaker back her up? Backing vocals? Banjo? Fiddle? Has poor Squeaker been designated as roadie and have to do all the heavy lifting?

Awww, Lils, I was just thinking of you! (Hanging up laundry and grumbling about did I tell Lils how right she is that the OT deaths in the ST don’t even serve a narrative purpose and grumble grumble grumble.) And here you were in my inbox.

A very good question indeed. Squeaker is the back-up squeaker! She squeaks the background vocals, which is what gives the band that totally unique sound. She doesn’t do heavy lifting- in fact, she IS the heavy lifting on the road (although she’s more willing to walk on a leash so she requires less lifting than Grace; her cooperation on trips almost got her elevated to front cat status!). Sometimes she does some percussion either by using her front paws to scratch things, to whap things, or by jumping down off something high for a nice deep echoing thus.
