PSA: I’m a female writer.
Hi, I just wanted to make this clear as day as I came across something that reminded me that some people probably don’t know: I am a female writer writing for male readers. I did address this a while ago in a tag, but that’s kind of buried within my posts.
If you are uncomfortable with that, please feel free to unfollow me!!!
I don’t want my works (which are all male! reader inserts) to make you feel uncomfortable/fetishized, even if that was never, and will never, be my intentions with anything I make.
(Which is actually why I stopped reading fem! reader inserts since the way they portrayed the reader was... less than ideal.)
There’s discourse over female writers (most notably cis, of which I am) and while I’m of the opinion that so long as it’s not fetishized/poorly written, it’s chill, I understand not everyone is of the same thought process, and that’s 100% okay (so long as you’re not sending anyone hate, but I digress).
So, I just wanted to make that clear. I’ll also be updating my bio, so any newcomers will have that information up front. I’m sorry I haven’t done that before, and I sincerely apologize to anyone who felt as if they’ve been duped.
