about twenty minutes in and eight goons down, Tommy’s starting to get real tired of running back and forth in the same tiny square. his job was to keep them distracted, though, (like always) and he’s going to do it.

it had been a long day. erica just wanted to get drunk and then stumble home and sleep till midday. it was a good thing that most of her work took place at night. she was onto her fourth drink when someone sat down on the stool beside her. “and what makes you think that you can just sit down next to me?”

            Save the world? Yeah, America can definitely do that. She didn’t run away from home just so she could sit around and do something boring, like attending college full time. And yeah, maybe she is doing that right now. Whatever. But would it kill the world to keep itself safe for just a second longer?

Freya walked around, chatting up whoever stopped long enough to talk to her. The conversations were nothing important or even specific. Socializing made the Mikaelsons look good. This was a neutral place, but it didn’t hurt to keep up appearances. She found herself at the bar with a glass of bourbon in her hand. When she turned back around she caught sight of one of the showgirls. Smiling at people here and there, she walked over. “Now I don’t think I know you,” she said with a smile when she was close enough. “I thought I knew everyone.”
