Agreed. Cutting Shot is useless, too.
That's the problem. Now, if you could actually CUT a tail with them, it would be great. You'd think, oh I can AIM, cutting tails should be easy!

It is not.
You can't cut a tail with those shots. It's not like it goes, damage tail a lot then a few Slicing shots and pop. You have to do ALL the tail damage with the slicing shots! And you try making a monster hold still for you to do all that damage! HAH. And you'll run out before you even come close.
You would think that they'd make it so that you can actually cut a tail.
No, they're just novelty.
It's almost like the game is forcing me to be a blademaster and I hate it.
