This bird likes to hang out around the entrance to the Florida Hotel, where we just had our Bsf convention. I’m not sure what type of bird it is, maybe a heron, but I do know what the native Americans called it. I was walking through the swamps looking for cypress trees one day with my friend, who’s heritage traces back to the Seminole’s, and we came upon a mated pair hunting together. My friend is very proud of his ancestry and knows much about the custom, practices, and language of his people.
