Day 08; Differential lines, as Entagma called it - it’s more like points move apart at a given spacing over time.Very interesting effect. I did not spend anytime rendering the lines to make it look appealing. The abstraction is so much fun, especially when you eagerly wait for the shape you get out of the points.

First Post Ever: The Beginning

I've been contemplating on what my first post should be for this blog. Honestly, it's not really that big of a deal but.. I don't know. LOL Oh well, I guess I should start with a short intro. First of all, I'm Sam. I'm 21 years old *cries* and I'm in my final year in college, doing Business Marketing. Why marketing of all things? Honestly it was just what made sense at the time (and Business was the only course my parents would ever approve of, other than Law, Medicine, Nursing and Psychology, so there). From reading my blog you might start thinking that, "She is soo in the wrong field of study." And I agree, I'm totally in the wrong industry/study LOL But then again, I've learnt a lot just by attending my classes about how the real world works and it's been a great 2-3 years. I can't say there weren't any times when I literally wanted to take a pen and slit my wrists with it but, you know. No pain, no gain. XD As you may have already noticed, I am Asian; Filipino to be exact. I've been living abroad for a few years now and no, I've never been back home yet.. ever, since I came here. Most of the time it hurts to think about that since I still consider the Philippines my one, and only home. And like I used to say, "You can't find a new love if you've already left your heart some place else." I've had brief flings with Barcelona and New York, Japan even (even though I've never been there), but the Philippines is still the only place I can imagine myself be truly content and happy. Anyway, the reason why I mentioned my heritage is because a  lot of my posts might be about that, or related to that, and I just wanted to give a brief background on me, and why this and that are like that here. I guess that's all I wanted to say for my first post, ever, on this blog anyway. I do have another blog on tumblr as well. That's my personal blog, and where a lot of the stuff I'll be posting in the next few days are from. I'm not gonna link it here, though, just because I don't feel like it, really. Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading through my blog, and find inspiration from it to do your own thing. There's gonna be a lot of variety here, I think, since I'm not even sure of what I wanna put up here. Still, it should be, all the same, a fun experience for me, and hopefully, also for you.
