This probably wasn't the best idea for him, but tradition was tradition. Grant pulled Skye closer, "C'mere, then."

The Night Before Christmas || Grant and Skye
Grant was amazed that even on Christmas Eve, New York City managed to live up to it's reputation as 'The City that Never Sleeps'. The weather was absolutely miserable - a deep chill in the air that forced Grant to pull his collar up on his jacket to protect himself from the wind. Though the Agent had to admit, the snow was a nice touch - it certainly looked like Christmas.
The other agents were far too occupied with the holidays, or so Grant assumed. Spending Christmas Eve with Melinda would give mixed signals to the woman he occasionally found solace in - though only on the physical level. Fitz and Simmons had set a make-shift dinner up with their families, each on their separate laptops and video-chatting with their families. Agent Coulson was... well, Grant wasn't exactly sure what Coulson was up to - the man kept to himself.
Skye on the other hand had invited him to watch terrible Christmas movies with her. Films with names such as Santa Conquers the Martians and Silent Night, Deadly Night. He had declined of course, telling the young hacker that he had rather spent the night catching up on his sleep. A lie, of course, but he had his own Christmas tradition to keep up on.
Grant stepped into the Lion's Head Pub and made his way to one of the many open seats at the bar. There a handful of people in the bar, though they all kept to themselves. Grant gave the bartender a nod and ordered himself a nice scotch, tapping the bar lightly with his fingers as the man poured his drink.

"Whatever it is- I didn't touch it. It was broken when I got down here."
♥ [[sorry not sorry. and if we're being honest, this would be tame of Skye. xD]]
Send me a “♥” for my muse’s reaction to yours crawling onto the bed, trying to be seductive.
"Skye - what are you doing?" Grant looked up at the hacker who had positioned herself above him on the bed with a bit of confusion - though he knew full well what she wanted.
"Hey, lover..." [[I'm sorry I had to xD]]
"Uh. Yeah. Morning. Hi there. Uh. Coffee?"

She'd been a risk, and a mistake, and yet Coulson still backed her. Maybe he'd lost perspective. Time was when he'd have kicked her to the curb as easily as he'd kicked her... boyfriend hacker son out in Hong Kong.
Maria went over all the data and readouts, and shook her head.
Something was very wrong with Phil. He couldn't know, could he?
She would keep and eye on Skye, because the girl had wormed her way in somehow, and through the symptoms would show the disease.

I Don't Have a Problem│Jemma & Skye
"Hey, Jemma. Um, are you busy right now?" Skye walked into the lab, stopping next to the biochemist, leaning up against the table. However, her eyes weren't exactly looking at the other woman, the brunette noticeably unsure about even saying anything.
