“You’re right on that.” She looked up at Justin, frowning before him. “Ever felt like you’ve been trapped?”, Jane asked, slowly showing him that she wasn’t too happy with her folks. It had nothing to deal with Justin as a a person, but rather the lack of choices these two had. They were young, barely out of their teens, and here they were- suddenly needing to act like adults due to their engagement. It was common to not much of a choice of who you were marrying in their town, regardless if they were poor or rich. Then again, she was aware of those who marry for true love or rebelling against the system by becoming libertines. In the end, tradition had the best of them- although there was still uncertainties of ever feeling love towards her future spouse.
