Just want to say you were absolutely right about that stretching genre video and I’m very happy you mentioned it! My partner tried to watch Hill House and couldn’t make it past episode two and now they understand why I wouldn’t shut up about it for months (and appreciate VE’s acting all the more). I can’t believe the Bly Manor one is a half hour longer and I’m entirely sure it’ll break my heart but hope to watch it soon!

I look forward to the Bly one, but I’m not gonna be able to watch it right away, I think. I was surprised at how hard the Hill House one hit me, and I’m not sure I’m up for that being multiplied just yet.

33. do you have any strange fears? let me see...well, i’m scared of a LOT of things, but i’m not sure if they’re strange. snakes, small spaces, clowns for sure. OH actually you know what, I’m kinda scared of squirrels. I don’t know why, but I just simply do not trust them. At all. they’re all beady-eyed and they climb way too fast...also idk, living in the city they’re just like, huge and mangy and.......yeah. so squirrels!

I felt like you might appreciate this suggestion my spelling and grammar check just gave me: "Style - three successive sentences begin with the same word. Consider rewording the sentence or use a thesaurus to find a synonym." I feel attacked??

Hahaha, “hey, grammar check, it’s a stylistic choice”. (Honestly, I turn mine off on all documents until I need to run a check at the end, because so many of my style choices/slang words make it angry.)

constellations: if you could have one talent, what would you want it to be?

i would love to have the ability to learn language innately, like just pick up on it and be able to speak like a native speaker on the first go. is that lame? probably. but yeah, idk, i’d love to have the ability to communicate no matter where i go!

orion: what’s your favourite type of weather?

a crisp autumn day! god i love a crisp autumn day. like, maybe a few clouds in the sky, but generally clear and around 10C, with that edgy breeze and the air smells clean and clear...mmm. yes. indeed.

I don’t know if there is one but if I had to pick I’d maybe say the scene in chapter five where Jamie realises her sexuality?

I hoped the war itself might be a good parallel to the conflict in the house and even just the characters but idk how well that came across, I figured the knowledge of it would you be hanging in the air, and the smoking taking place too, the chicken coop and the pet cemetery
