jollibeeeeeee
wowee that's a lot of job changes!!
probably gotta retire a lot of these old posts i wrote LOL
(more to write tho yay :))
i was very zoned out during my first rubicante run (and first 8-man in like 4 years) that i wasnt paying attention to the party health. just cruising along till i see
"Clemency"
and it kicks me back into gear LMAO i never took my eyes off the party health again
tbf it was during the rotating danger puddles and everyone was fine, our OT was standing on the opposite side and i didnt realize they had built up 5 vuln stacks by this point (oops)
havent played in an itty bitty minute but it's funny how intuitively sage/sch just come back meanwhile ast was a whole m e s s to try and remember (also forgot how weak 81-85 ast is compared to the others lmfao)
the true welcome-back was healing a no-mit tank through zot w2ws (at least they knew where hallowed ground was ????)
am back briefly because of the login campaign~
it's wild how quickly it all kind of just comes back to you lol i was initially kind of overwhelmed again at all the healer actions, but after running a few things it just kind of clicked back into place! there's just something therapeutic about dungeon healing to me..
also it's taking me some time to get used to the new Ast cards.. not that it really matters since 80% of the time im chucking them on the tank but still, i like to know them so i can utilize them at the right time :) i try mousing over the cards when it's not too busy lol
life is still a bit too hectic for me to justify re-subbing atm but i look forward to the day that i can jump back into this world fully ^^
anyways, just wanted to say hello to whoever is still out here and i hope you're keeping well <3 hopefully i'll be back soon!
(also wow i missed gposing! one of the first things i did when coming back was check out what the new hot glams were haha)
whew okay self-imposed objectivity aside~ i'm not impressed by the 7.0 healers but im not.. sad or anything. certainly not itching to join a certain strike (i say as if i'm playing this game rn)
it's just more of the same, really. sge and sch got slightly more interesting stuff this time around, for sure. im a bit disappointed the capstone abilities for whm and ast are a bit boring but they dont exactly want for healing tools so it is what it is i guess
you can kind of tell they just dont know what to do with the healers. is it bad to say im actually looking forward to 8.0 already hahahaa.. i wont be surprised if we dont get a new healer till 9.0, but i just realllyyyyyy want some new, fresh healer mechanics to play with. the 5th healer will break the balance of regen/barrier, and rather than just adding to one side, it would be sooo neat to see something new. i miss the creativity a bit. i know balance is king to them, but when it comes to healers, they go about it in kind of boring ways
really really wanna do at least oneeee post for each of the four healers while im here hehe hopefully i get around to it! also because i have been promising i'd do this for so long
in the meantime, more pics :) :)
