Haggling Question

Genuine question for anyone with an opinion...

I lack the skills to haggle. I grew up with "if you have to ask, it's too expensive" and my autism demands a level of honesty that most people do not expect.

I placed an ad for something with an asking price of $250. Someone replied and asked "what is your bottom dollar on these?" I said $150. Honestly, I know they're worth at least $150, but $250 was a bit high of an asking price. She said that was a fair price. I asked her when she could come and pick them up.

The next day she replied with "what was the price?" so I replied again, $150 for the set. This was a little irritating because it's literally in the text chain... you just need to scroll up and you'd see our entire conversation - even if you're emailing a bunch of people at once, the reply literally has the entire conversation in it...

She replied by offering me $125.

Why did she ask me what my bottom dollar was if she was just going to try to lowball me anyway?! Am I rational in being deeply upset with this? Am I just being too honest? She asked for the lowest I'd be willing to accept, said that was a fair price, and then offered less than that. What was the point of asking me for my lowest amount?! I HATE haggling. I'm too honest for this.

Depression doesn’t make you comfortable in pain it just makes you feel like if you get any relief that if the pain comes back it will be too much to handle because you have adjust your life to accommodate that pain. I was afraid of healing because the process was like opening an old wound that had healed on the surface. The pain was deep but as long as I don’t touch it I won’t feel it. The trauma was like an infection that took over everything and it was like going into shock! The only thing that helped me was people that didn’t give up on me even when I asked them to and people who prayed for me even when I couldn’t hear them.
