So, Maybe Let’s Not Be Strangers
I’ve always sucked at tumblring tbh....
I wasn’t entirely sure if I wanted to be like this completely mysterious “simmer behind the simblr” type persona, or like “hey, I do have a life outside of this place, here it is”.. so, maybe something in between, just so I don’t feel like I’m talking to myself on here 😂 which I don’t mind, bc I do that anyway...
Briefly:
SHE/HER.. (since this has to be clarified now a days lol.) You can call me Posh, Poshy or whatever honestly 😂
Age: 21, turning 22. May 22. Kinda into zodiac stuff too, so might as well add Ima Gemini ♊️.
Ethnicity: I’m Black baby. 🙌🏾 And sooo happy, to see this urban/ethnic community of simmers. Especially black simmers, bc I remember how I used to be embarrassed to tell other black people I played Sims, this hardcore 😂.
Location: I live in the U.S. East Coast, city girl but not from NY.. (even tho everybody swears I’m from there)
Been playing Sims for years. Been hooked onto the PC version since TS2. I binge play off and on, this is one of those times lol. Especially now that I’ve actually been playing the entire game & not just parts I like. I’m currently playing Sims 4 only, on PC.
Outside of My Faux Life in the Sims... irl, I’m a licensed hairstylist and make up artist. I’m still building hair clientele, so when I’m not working I have a lot of free time at home lol. If you have any beauty questions, definitely hmu. I love having beauty chats.
What to Expect from My Simblr: tbh, this whole Simblr experience is really new to me, but I want to be more active in the community. I’m relearning Sims all over again in some aspects, so I’m still getting my footing. Butttt.. I think I have found my niche in building and decorating, I at least have a love for it. It soothes me. If I ever can learn how to make some awesome cc, then I think I would be making a lot of build/buy stuff. I am thinking of taking builds/room requests in the future tho & kinda have this realtor theme going.. I will be making builds that are available for download on the gallery.
Won’t be too many fashion look books if any, that’s just not really my thing. I love a good slay, but irl my fashion styling skills are at best, minimal unless it’s for an event. Also, I spend most of my cc shopping time on hair, skins, & build/buy stuff. If REALLY, REALLY wanna discipline myself and write at least one short story. I always have loved writing but never can get the ideas in my head to become words on paper. Even tho, @pixelheaux writing resource tag is a GOD-SEND & has encouraged & taught me so much. So, I think something could be in the works soon..
As far as roleplays, I’m not sure if I’m THAT committed lol. I’m barely committed to my own identity, yet alone a portrayal of someone else’s. Maybe, not ruling it out, but don’t want it to be forced either. But, I do have this character in the works, who at best, will be the face of my simblr. Kinda does have a backstory, is it separate blog RP worthy? Idk!
