Tutorial: How to set up pages/links using tags in tumblr

I get messages now and then, asking me how to set up a menu using tags/tag links. So I thought I would make a small tutorial.

A very good place to start is tumblr’s page guide here.

First, test your tag link out first to be sure it works. For example, I tag my legacy “rain legacy” and this is the link that works for it: http://pixelpixies.tumblr.com/tagged/rain-legacy  Note that tumblr puts a dash as a space.  

Now go to your main page and click on the upper right button: customize (Or you can go to settings, select your blog, theme>customize button). Now scroll down the left side menu and you will see “Pages” and a small “+ Add A Page”. Click it! You will get a pop up like below. You need select Redirect from the top drop down menu.

Next, you must fill in Page URL (For example: mydownloads, rainlegacy etc). “Redirect to” is where you put your actual tag link. Next, click the check box for Show a Link to This Page and name the link (For example: Downloads, Rain Legacy etc). Then click save. And now you should have a link on your main page to your tag.

Note: Not all themes let you add links to your page this way. Most tumblr themes do though, so if you have a theme you are using that you did not get through tumblr and your page links are not showing up when you do this, that is your theme not having the coding in it to allow this. You can manually edit the html of your theme and add links with html, but only if you are are comfortable editing html.

I really hate asking but...

I need help. I’m a stay at home mother right now. I have NO cash currently and the supplemental office was closed today (that supplies our baby formula). They won’t be open til next week for employee advancement day and she has a few bottles left. My boyfriend just put the savings on a new place so we can move out of our 1bdr since we need more space due to our family’s expansion.

If I can get $25-$50 I can get her enough food until they open with a few extra for backup. Not an obligation but an ask for help 😞. Just a little way to announce I’m active for the time being 🥰...

Update: My old laptop’s motherboard is messed up so I lost all my old saves and a good amount of CC that I didn’t have backed up on my google drive. 🥴😫😫😫 I bought a new laptop. (It’s actually a gaming one, pretty decent.) Then, I got confused about OneDrive backup on my new laptop and lost a few CC files again when I deleted it off my computer!😂

Soo, basically I’m starting fresh again. Will be posting some of my Newcrest neighborhood builds as well as introduce some new faces 🤗 These are some of the screenshots from my girl Jayda’s ( @jaebvnksxo​) crib.

SN: Working on a side blog for all my interiors and builds. I think I will start uploading making some of my builds available for downloads. There finally to my liking. I’ve gotten better during my hiatus.

…think they are not important because:

-They don’t get drawings of their ocs from other people -Dont receive asks -Never get tagged in things -Dont get mentions  -Don’t get random messages from people -Never have collab/rp/ship partners -Feel invisible -Never get comments/replies -Never win contests and/or giveaways

You matter. You’re amazing and you’re part of the community. All you gotta do is do all these things above to people and you will see how fast you’ll get them back. Take 5 minutes of your day to do all these things and you’ll get them in return. You’ll make lots of friends, you’ll meet people, you’ll feel part of the big thing ❤

Many people in this community don’t do these things at their own initiative, which makes them feel left out. It’s all about doing these for others and they will be returned to you. If you’re kind people will notice and respond to you, and if you did all of these and never got a response from people simply move on. Don’t hold grudges against “big simblrs”, don’t gossip, don’t send hate anons. Move on and spread positivity and find the people who will return all of the above to you. ❤

Soo, was put on to the topic of demisexuality... & I’m pretty effin ecstatic, that their is a term for people like me. For awhile I thought I was becoming asexual bc like the thought of being physical with a lot of the clowns that approach me (no matter how sexy) was repulsive... until my last ex, who I had great chemistry with & felt emotionally comfortable with, I was sooo attracted to him physically. I looked back on my physical encounters & decided that the only ones that ever did anything for me, were the ones I felt emotionally intimate with. Like I knew i wasn’t a prude by no stretch 😂 but I also couldn’t explain this to anybody in a way they understood.. I mean these skeezy niggas still ain’t gonna care what kinda sexual I am, they still gonna be after these drawls &’call me all types of virgin, weirdo, and prude tho 🤷🏾‍♀️😂

Last photoset from my Fountainview Penthouse renovation. The living room is my 3rd favorite part of this build. Its minimal, but cozy. Neutral yet stylish. Overall love how this build came out. Island Feels 🌴

#PoshNote: The indoor pool is like the most terrifying loved feature in this build. Tbh, this whole penthouse gave me anxiety. The whole time I’m building, I’m thinking like “How many people die building a penthouse?” “Is it even legal to build a pool on top of someone’s ceiling? Imagine the water damage 🤔” .. lmao constantly have to remind myself, this is a video game and doesn’t require this level of anxiety and thought 😂 but still? Can you imagine! Would never want to live in a penthouse tho. I’m so cool off that luxury lmao, cannot do heights.
