The audio is very soft and the lighting poor (always is in my house,) but this video is of my cat Soxx. I wanted to record her purr. This post is sort of an 'in memory of' post for me, as she passed away today. So I wanted to share this here. Soxx has always filled my life with happiness and love. Perhaps because of our closeness and the mark she's left on me, her purr likewise always brought me happiness, almost in a pavlovian manner. I’m always contented when I hear other cats purr, but with Soxx, I always have a deeper, stronger reaction. I’d be filled with love for her, and would feel my heart lift automatically when I'd to listen to her motor run. She made a deep impact on my life, and she will be deeply missed.
