he has NO IDEA how it started, or who the other guy even is – justin had been watching for a second but when blood started gushing from somebody’s ear, he had to jump in. he’d only met charlie once, at a football practice, but charlie was mainly on the bench that day.
❝ hey! what the FUCK, man?! ❞ he puts his hands on charlie, immediately wondering if he’d made the right decision. he wasn’t scared of him, but he was a big guy, and clearly good at fighting. he doesn’t let go of charlie until the other guy gets away, dodging charlie’s punches. justin is secretly impressed with himself, managing to only get one punch in the gut while breaking it up. ❝ st. george, the fuck is wrong with you? ❞ he knew charlie was the new guy; now he wondered if he hadn’t been EXPELLED from his old school.
so maybe this wasn’t the best FIRST IMPRESSION. a little temperamental to say the least, it’d been easy enough for him to get provoked, something he’s really gotta work on. but between everything that led him to the new school and snide remarks he’d overheard, he seemed more concerned with fighting than he was controlling his anger.
he’d managed to mostly come across reasonably sweet and innocent, but he hadn’t met justin enough to have him convinced of that yet. and this definitely WOULDN’T HELP. hand wipes at blood starting to drip from his nose, though his knuckles are also dripping blood, so it’s not exactly HELPFUL. groan escapes at justin’s words, lacking in an actual answer. ❝ why’d you pull me off him? ❞
