" it comes out as more of a wheeze than an actual sentence. how was he supposed to know what that word had meant ? it had been five seconds of stuttering before he'd panicked, ' poofing ' himself back into the safety of his truck. whether or not billie's statement was actually meant to be assuring, he took it as such.
