maybe it's a weird request, but i was thinking about Silco needing more muscle and responsibility on his employees so Sevika needs to work with someone just as big and muscular as her, but this person is actually a bit clumsy and awkward and sevika wasn't really happy about working with her initially because it wasn't the best first impression (she finds reader really pretty, but is too big and ends up bumping into a plant and breaking its vase when entering in Silco's office.)
but they end up getting really closer to each other ( i didn't think how 😭 ) and sevika ends up catching feelings to reader (but having a difficult time while it happens, so sevika ends up acting a bit too submissive around her).
Butch4butch sevi you are so dear to me
reader is pretty heavily described (apart from skin tone) so..........yes
"Excuse me?" Sevika looked up from under her eyebrows at Silco, her grip on her crystal glass tightening. "More muscle?"
Silco scoffed at how offended Sevika had become by the statement, rolling his eyes when Sevika did her little cape reveal to show her muscles rippling, her abs taught. "More muscle than," she turned to flex her back, Silco groaning and rubbing his hands hard down his cheeks, "this?!"
She turned and picked up her glass, shotting her whiskey down her throat, alcohol burning on the way down. "We need more muscle. I've found a good companion for you. I expect you to show her the ropes." He bangs twice on his desk, commanding his new 'muscle' to enter.
You hit your elbow on the door frame on the way in, stumbling over your feet at you attempt to nurse your funny-bone. "Shit- Jesus-" Sevika begrudgingly catches you to save her beloved collected of alcohol as you threaten to fall into her liquor cabinet. Yes, her liquor cabinet, despite the fact its in Silco's office. Her collection is so extensive, ornate crystal bottles with aged whiskey and bourbon that cost her a fortune to import (smuggle) from topside. Its precious to her, so much so that she didn't hesitate to bundle you up in her arms.
You look up and pray you're not blushing, admiring the curve of her nose, her big eyes that frantically check over her bottles. She looks at you with a confused expression, and you clear your throat, step away and lean against the wall. "Ladies." Silco says, his voice gruff and impatient. "You two are tasked with defending me and the empire I've built in Zaun. Think you can handle clumsy over here, Sevika?" He gestures to you with his thumb, and now you're definitely blushing, embarrassment heating your face.
"I can handle clumsy." Sevika leans over the desk and grabs a cigar from Silco's holder, taking a lighter from behind her ear. "You smoke?" She grunts, clearly annoyed beyond belief with your presence. You dont answer, so she rolls her eyes and lights up. "Come."
She walks out the office into the streets, patting her hip to command you to follow. You do, tripping over the steps and landing face first into Sevika's back. You're a strange mix of intensely grateful and humiliated, your cheeks smushed into the indents of Sevikas toned form. She whips round and grabs you by the shoulders.
"All this muscle and no balance?" she spits, hand dropping to squeeze your bicep. She screws up her face. "Stop flexing." She grunts, squeezing harder, a strange focus on her expression. "Im not flexing!" You whine, lifting your other arm. You flex your bicep for a second and gasp when it rips from your thin shirt. "Shit, not again," you groan, looking up at Sevika.
She's slack jawed, her breath halted. You knit your eyebrows in confusion.
“What the fuck.” She says, lips drawn thin as she hides any expression from you. You quirk your eyebrow as you reach into your pocket for safety pins. You mend your shirt and begin to walk away, feeling her hand come to the scruff of your neck to pull you into the correct direction.
An enforcer with a gun you couldn’t even begin to fathom shot just past you, but enough to cut into your side as you tripped off of the battle scene. Sevika stormed in front of you, beckoning you to follow her with a sweep of her arm. You clutch your waist , trying to pull yourself forward by gripping sides of streets and decemated buildings, but it was no use. The padding and clinking of enforcers began to ring louder in your ears as they caught up in ordered marches. You screamed out for her, feeling hands bunch up your shirt behind you. As your mind went black, your brain not wanting you to experience your own grizzly death, you heard a THWACK.
Your mind cleared and you saw Sevika fighting off one, two, five enforcers, shouting and begging for you to help. So you did.
Adrenaline infiltrated your veins, leading an even more ordered battalion than the enforcers. The momentum led your arms, your legs, the backs of your elbows as you fought them off. You were about as skillful in combat as an elephant, but certainly twice as strong. Each blow an enforcer caught sent them spinning into walls, streets, anyway defeated in your wake. Sevika panted, dragging you away by your underarm.
Your pace faltered as the burning pain spread from exhaustion, collapsing into the floor like a bag of flour. “Hey, clumsy what’s…”
You weakly lifted your shirt and Sevika shifted. Her stern, demeaning expression suddenly mournful. “Okay, okay I’ve got you,” she murmurs as she lifts you over her shoulders, carrying you through smoke and sleet to a near doctor- or, at least, someone who had access to antiseptic and running water.
You wake up in a strange place, one you can’t make out at all. At the first instance of sight you’re afraid, afraid that enforcers had captured you and locked you in some strange dungeon. Your vision adjusts and the thought immediately escapes you, watching Sevika as she cooks. It smells nice, warming and hearty. Only when you tilt your head do you realise how much she’s been cooking. Dishes you’ve certainly never seen in the undercity before, but ones you’re glad to catch the aroma of.
“Ah, you’re awake.” Sevika says plainly, emotionless. “I didn’t know how to help so I made some things Amma used to make for me.” She ladles chicken yakhni soup into a cracked little bowl and walks over.
“Sit up,” you do, with difficulty, “there we go…”
You sip gently as she tips the soup into your mouth. A little dribbles down your chin, and she wastes no time in wiping it with the back of her hand. Her touch is warm, perhaps more healing than the soup.
Her hand lingers on your neck, gently touching as she brushes any dregs off of your skin. She looks at you curiously. You want to ask what she’s thinking but you dare not so. Your chest heaves at the silence, and Sevika quickly steps away.
“It’s very nice,” you say as Sevika tastes some for herself. “Thanks.”
This took me so long to write and it’s so bad but hey I do get around to writing sometimes.
