I reallllly love the colours you use in every drawing, how do you go about picking your palette? QuQ or do you just dive right in haha

thank you so much! hmmm i pick colors based on the mood/story of what im drawing and what the feeling i want it to evoke? That’s why a lot of my art is colored so warmly, because i tend to draw soft and happy moments.

Okay, what about L7, Nirvana, Fleetwood Mac, and the Traveling Wilburys (I think I already know the last one but hey) for the band ask

Yaaaaaaaaaaas, although Nirvana is a bit of a surprise. :p I’ll try, though.

L7: I think Suzi. :) I dunno, I like ‘em all, though, but Suzi sticks out to me the most. I still like Donita’s voice the most though oops sorry. She just happens to sing my fave L7 songs.

Nirvana: Kurt. If you’d ask me the Foo Fighters then I could’ve said Dave Grohl. LOL But I think, as far as Nirvana goes and as far as what I know about them/how I feel about them and their music and everything, Kurt deserves my appreciation there. (Which isn’t meant to be a stab at Dave or Krist, btw, at all!)

Fleetwood Mac: LOL WHAT, COME ON, IT’S STEVIE. Or Chris. I really love Chris. But it’s Stevie, obviously. :p

Traveling Wilburys: GEORGE. HAHA YOU THOUGHT I’D SAY TOM. I could care less about that blonde punk who was barely dad-rock enough to be in that band, anyway, if you ask me. :p So yeah, it’s George, fight me. Although I will say one good thing about Tom being in the Traveling Wilburys, or two: him playing the bass (see, that cocky asshole got to revert back to his original job because he’s not dad-rock enough to be in the band, LOL), and the top hat.

@ Benmont anon: YOU NEED TO KNOW ANOTHER TPATH FAN AND THIS IS THEM (well, @farawayfeeling more appropriately). Although Drew’s TPATH fave is Ron. Still, a deserved fave, of course. :) And see, Benmont anon, I’m not the only one who was scared by how much we seem to have in common. LOL Plus Drew knew my Benmont situation from the beginning to the sad end, too.

OMG. ...okay. Thank you, though. :p (For reference, since you made me go all the way back and look for this. LOL SOMEONE WAS STALKING MY BLOG AGAIN. :P)

Sexy Sadie: I don’t have a crush on anyone that I know of unless you read something into this? And to be quite honest, I don’t even remember what the daydreams were like when I had crushes on people, like back in high school. I just knew that I liked them and usually told them so and that went oh-so-well, as you can guess, I’m sure. WHY DO I DO THIS, WHY AM I LIKE THIS. Revolution 9: Tolerance. I would change how tolerant the world is, as in, have everyone be more tolerant of, you know, things and people that are different from them. It means a lot to be tolerant, and not only that, but to be sincere about it, too. But maybe that’s a slightly different topic, something else I’d have to want changed/try to change. x_x

Tpath - Echo :o)

Thank god it’s an album I actually like. :p Off topic but the other day I was trying to remember all the songs on Long After Dark ‘cause I had one stuck in my head but I couldn’t remember what it was called (that happened to ME, I KNOW) and I thought at one point ‘If anyone asked me what songs are on The Last DJ or Mojo I would literally have no clue. About any of them, maybe except for the title track (though is that even a thing on Mojo?). That’s how unfamiliar I am with them.’

1. “One More Day, One More Night”

2. “Counting on You”

3. “Rhino Skin”

Overall opinion: I don’t think I’d call it “Tom’s divorce album,” but for uncompromisingly dark and dejected, it works quite well, so, ya know, if you’re in that kind mood I’d say it’d definitely fit. Also, this is kind of random, but the lyrics of “Counting on You” sounds like a nod back to the Traveling Wilburys. Just sayin’. Oh yeah, and Benmont kicks ass on this album (as much as one can on a rather dreary album).
