I was tagged by justimaginary, and you all know the rules: I'll tag everyone I know, and the tagged people have to answer this 10 questions on their own blog and with their own people tagged!
(and pleaseeee tell me why! :3)
Your favourite colour?
How do you imagine a real dream wedding?
How would your dream house look like if you had all the money in the world?
An ability you would like to have? (drawing, singing, flying...)
Give me something you totally want to see written or drawn. (Portrait, book with specific prompt or topic, fanstuff...)
If someone transformed you into a magical creature, what would it be?
What was the last thing that made you cry? (sorry I have to steal that question; it's too interesting)
Facebook or tumblr?
Favourite artist or poet?
Do you like/are you interested in philosophy?
Have fun!~ (don't have to do this if you don't want of course)
1. What was the last book/movie/tv-show that made you cry?
...do justaskinnyboy's YouTube Videos count? if so it's "you're worth it". The only book which made me cry was "The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry" by Rachel Joyce. I never cried about a movie or show :3
2. How many languages do you speak? Which ones?
German and English, though I learned Latin and a little Spanish in school ;))
3. If your celebrity crush would die tomorrow, how would you react?
I don't really have a "crush", but if my favourite singer died, I'd probably cry and listen to his songs all day.
4. Have you ever written a fanfiction?
Nope! I give prompts to everyone but I keep my "full" fanfics in my head xD
5. Is there a song that reminds you of last summer? If so, which one?
"Bloody nails and broken hearts" by Billy Talent? Dunno. Maybe also "Diamond on a Landmine", I loved that song back then.
6. If you could choose between getting rid of your worst insecurity (your body, bad habits etc.) or 100.000$, what would you choose?
The money. I'd feel like a cheater if I couldn't deal with my own insecurities...I have to overcome them myself.
7. You have to choose between drinking only alcoholic beverages or not drinking alcohol ever again. What would you choose? (given the alcohol consumption wouldn’t cause health problems)
No alcohol for me. If only for the faces of my metalhead friends when I tell them I don't drink. :P
8. Which countries have you visited already? Which do you still want to visit?
Uuuh, that's a long list. I just write them in the order which comes to my mind...
The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourgh, Italy (over and over), Greece, France, Spain (briefly), England, Ireland, Poland, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Tunisia, Denmark, Sweden (also briefly). I think that was it.
I'd like to visit England again (because now I have friends who would Show me around), and I'd like to see Turky, China, Japan, Norway, Iceland...and the rest of the world. Almost.
9. Who is your favourite youtuber?
I don't watch YouTube videos because of the youtuber...usually I use it to look up songs. Maybe just-a-skinny-boy, though I watch the videos on tumblr. Or VersengoldOfficial, but that's a band's page.
10. What could your best friend do, that you what never forgive him/her?
Kill someone? idk.
11. If you could bring one person back to life, under the condition that you could never meet him/her, who would it be?
Jesus :P I'd hear about that. And I'd be super curious. At least he wouldn't start wars. Hmm...or maybe Ghandi. Someone of that kind :3 (my other "Heros" were either emperors who would try to start wars or killed themselves.)
OMG I’m so sorry, I never answered that one!! I totally forgot and just remembered now!! So sorry!! >.<
In no particular order (also without claiming to be complete):
LOTR/The Hobbit. You can criticise a lot of things about the LOTR and Hobbit movies and have a good point about it. But there’s one thing you can’t accuse Jackson of: that he doesn’t have a knack for casting. Literally ALL actors are so spot-on with their portrayal. I can’t think of a single role I would’ve casted differently. I feel like each of the actors has such a deep understanding of their character… Most of them are big Tolkien fans, which certainly does play a role. I do acknowledge that there are things which are wrong with the movies. The cast is certainly not one of these things.
Firefly. You can almost physically feel the chemistry - this is a cast that just works so well together. No interaction feels forced or unreal, they just feel exactly how far they can go. They also know exactly how far they can push their own character; how far they can push the other characters… Every interaction just brings out the best of all the involved characters and that’s awesome. (Also, you gotta love the dedication - when Nathan makes Mal suffer, he makes him suffer, no matter if physically or emotionally.)
The Avengers/MCU. What I love about this cast is that they don’t feel like one big unity like a lot of casts for movies (and especially TV shows) with a huge character pool, but that they feel a little like their characters: several individuals who stand on their own just fine, but who somehow were thrown into one thing together and learned to complement and complete and support each other so extremely well that they blow your mind. The Avengers is a movie that juggles a lot of characters in only two and a half hours, but somehow it manages to highlight all of them pretty well - I’m convinced that this has a lot to do with the awesome cast; with how everyone manages to do their character justice and rock the few spotlight moments they have, while simultaneously knowing exactly how to bring out the best in the character they’re interacting with.
Star Trek. Just about every generation, but I’ll specifically talk about the reboot cast. I’ve said it before and I will say it again: All the things that were wrong with the reboot movies were DEFINITELY NOT the cast. Each and every one of them managed to give the character a new twist while at the same time keeping the TOS spirit. Simon Pegg mirrors the facial expressions of James Doohan near perfectly, Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto have the same electrical chemistry that Shatner and Nimoy brought to perfection, and I will forever be convinced that Karl Urban somehow managed to channel DeForest Kelley’s spirit. I would have traded my soul for a series reboot instead of movies. Because there was a LOT of character development going on for two movies, and even though everyone (especially Chris Pine) managed to pull it off without feeling too rushed or illogical - imagine how awesome it would’ve been if they’d had two seasons of a show instead of two movies!!
Castle. While I am convinced by now that Nathan Fillion can literally pull off any role he touches, my heart also beats for the rest of the cast. Stana is, hands down, amazing. Kate Beckett has one of the most logical, beautiful and intriguing character arcs of all TV characters I know, and Stana’s portrayal of Kate’s development is just so spot on. Kate has grown so dear to me; I’d’ve never thought that in season 1. It’s a bit like I already said about the Firefly cast - nothing feels forced in this show. Everything feels just so natural and human. Each of the characters feels so human, nothing feels overacted or artificial. ‘Caskett’ is one of the most genuine, non-constructed romantic TV relationships (well, I mean, the set-up is totally constructed, but you know what I mean XD). (Also my heart totally beats for Seamus Dever’s portrayal of Ryan and for the Ryan/Esposito bromance.)

XD
