INSURV

My ship is going thru INSURV preps. I’m sure no one who follows me knows what this means, but basically EVERYTHING I am in charge of gets inspected, from the administration to the material condition of everything. It’s a brutal process — ESPECIALLY because my ship has the distinct title of being underway THE MOST of any 7th fleet ship in the last year.

I own the “NV” deck. Out of 20 decks, 3 passed. Mine was one of them.

Still so much work to do. But I’ll take the small wins when I can.

In a complete coincidence, all the BENFOLD “navigators” happened to be in the same place today! Between the three of us, we are going on to WTI school, take command, and go on to do a tour with industry at Amazon.
