Melissa's Food Shop is a chic combination café, gourmet and local craft retail shop. A surprising treat for a chain but built with heart and a passion for fine food and crafts. Nuzzled in downtown Stellenbosch, the default staging ground for one of the best wine regions in the world, don’t miss a breakfast, coffee and biscuit or some light shopping. The local laden multi-use space is perfectly planned offering a variety of textiles, beauty products and most importantly small batch gourmet food stuffs. Not to discount the kitchen and bakery which definitely over delivered expectations. We spent an hour at @melissas.za and I could have spent half a day eating, people watching, eating some more and shopping.
