Within his personal gate, Asra lounged beside the kaleidoscopic pool of shimmering water, Faust resting nearby in the towering multicolored trees. With a sudden turn, the energy around him shifts, something powerful and familiar tugging in one direction. He rises to his feet, shock plain on his features upon seeing who rose from the water, “Julianne?” He asked, although it was plain to see who exactly it was.
“What are you doing here,” he asked with a slightly breathless chuckle, offering a hand to aid her across the water’s surface disturbed only by the smallest of ripples under her feet, “You and Ilya aren’t in trouble, are you?”
Shock morphs to concern at the thought. With Julian and Julianne sailing the high seas together anything could happen.
Julianne took the magician’s hand with a smile, making her way through the shallow waters until she was soundly on the beach. It felt like ages since she’d visited Asra, and though it hadn’t been all that long, she was just as happy to see him.
“No, no trouble,” she replies, “unless you count Ilya’s usual antics as trouble. Which, to be fair...”
A soft shake of her head, and she was back on topic. “But, ah. I’ll be honest, I don’t really know how I ended up here either. Last I remember, I was heading to sleep - and now I’m here.”
She paused, looking off to the side for a moment. “I think maybe I just... missed you, and didn’t know it. Or maybe there’s some other reason I’m supposed to be here right now.”
