can’t tell you how much i love seeing sports folks on my dashboard because minoru is very much not a sports person and would probably eat the floor if she played something like volleyball.

It’s a slow process. Getting used to curses being a thing. Seeing them when you least expect it. She’s really trying to make do with it all. She’s even been receiving some help every now and then when it comes to controlling the cursed energy she’s come to possess. Just a little bit longer, Rei will mentally tell herself.
Just rely on others for a little longer, then you’ll be able to handle things yourself.
Rei nods and takes a hold of the other girl’s hand. “I suppose that’s true. Just be careful though.” The last thing Rei wants is for her to get hurt.
i know that no one is awake right now but i finally worked on displaying minoru’s post-shibuya scars for you all to see. since her wounds were mostly self-inflicted through her cursed technique, ieiri managed to save the girl’s vision -- but the leftover marks are a reminder to have more care for her own life.
ever since i remade hibiki’s carrd, i’ve been having a hankering to redo minoru’s as well ! while i most likely won’t do it tonight, since i said i’d work on naoya’s -- let me just place this here as a reminder to myself !

HIGH SCHOOL VERSE.
no one ever asked what the blue was for, nor where it came from. she always stuck to the corners of a dark classroom - away from the windows. that’s what made the blue so obvious ; because the red sat upon her crown was so much warmer under the sun.
a second year transfer student at a high school in kyoto. it’s unknown to the student base as to the reason of the girl’s transfer, but rumor has it that it had something to do with her mother.
due to her dyed hair and tendency to remain around the darker corners of rooms, added to by her habit of wearing hoodies, minoru is often confused for a delinquent.
she is a member of her school’s band class — and has attended her fair share of competitions in the hopes of displaying her guitar skills in a professional sense. she doesn’t hide this but due to her reputation, finding out would be rather embarrassing on her end.
koito-chan in her high school verse is now her toddler baby sister rather than... whatever she is in her normal verse. her mother’s last gift to her, she focuses all her energy in raising koito in her father’s place. as if to add more credence to her delinquent persona, she often misses classes or is late taking care of her baby sister.
her bass guitar and the songs she creates are incredibly dear to her. she searches from inspiration often and frequently — which is why you’ll often find her in places she shouldn’t be. track fields, art rooms, sports clubs, anything that’ll give her the drive she needs to create something new.
it’s important to note that the reason minoru is designated a grade one sorcerer rather than special grade is because she works with the higher-ups. they are so fervently set in their belief that she’ll abide by their will that marking her as a special grade isn’t something they believe is necessary. without a doubt in my mind, minoru’s connection to koito and her ultimate technique is special grade capacity — but since she works alongside of sorcerer society, there’s not a need to mark her as that.
