The Best is Yet to Come!

I have officially finished my internship at JuVee Productions. On my last day I was lucky enough to meet Viola Davis. The following day, I performed at Da Poetry Lounge in West Hollywood. Da Poetry Lounge is hosted by world renowned slam poet, Shihan. I arrived four hours early to get a spot in the performance line up, but it was totally worth it. My performance went well, and the crowd was great. 

Since finishing my internship at JuVee I visited Santa Monica with my housemates for the 4th of July. We expected the beach to be crowded, but there was a decent amount of people, and it was easy to maneuver around in spite of it being a holiday. For fireworks, we went to Downtown LA and attended a block party near the Times building.

Tomorrow I begin my internship at Motion 24 as a PA. I look forward to what this additional opportunity will bring!
