- A Comet Appears by The Shins (Idk it always feels me with a sense of dread but in an emotional melodramatic way and makes me think about a lot of low points in my life and how there's probably always another one just waiting around the corner lmao)

- Locomotive by Alex Winston (she's one of my favorite singers and all of her songs are amazing imo but this was the first one I heard by her and it was at a really positive time in my life so it always makes me happy)

- Strip my Mind by RHCP (just another one I heard at a significant time in my life that always takes me back there)

30. 3 moments you could never forget

- The first time I went to the desert (specifically parts of northern/central AZ) - just really overwhelmed me.

- Spending midsummer in a village in Sweden bc it coincided with a band trip I went on. It was just such a perfect day and I was with all of my closest friends at the time.

- The first time I went into a haunted house and actually enjoyed myself, whereas before they always gave me panic attacks (I have bad hypervigilance so things randomly popping out at me fucks w/ me a lot. But I started going to HHN w/ my SO and his family and the sets and designs of the houses were so ornate and interesting to me that it kind of helped me deal with it in that specific environment).

you misunderstood my point. People were saying to use the badge system at cons. For people who are completely mentally healthy. That's what I had a problem with, not picking a fight with people that have mental disorders. I can understand it for people that actually need it.

yes. no one at cons is neurodivergent & could be helped by systems like that. nobody.

That aside, systems like the badges pictured only work when everyone participates. Otherwise, the kid with the yellow "eh maybe talk to me" badge is basically wearing a bright neon sign saying "HEY! I'M WEIRD IN THE BRAIN!" So yes, even "mentally healthy" people. It's nice to have nonthreatening places to interact in, precisely because most of the world isn't like that. They're like interaction training wheels.
