WHO: @jvdes WHEN: Day 14 WHERE: Somewhere in the Jungle
Okay, by Odessa’s calculations, Jude had left like... what, 10 or so minutes before she did? She couldn’t have gone far, right? Odessa figured that if she kept at a steady pace in the direction she saw Jude leave in, then she was bound to run into the other girl as long as the redhead didn’t make any weird turns. “Jude!” She called out. She was careful as she could be for someone who was making her way through the jungle in frustrated haste, at least partially mindful to not trip over any exposed root and find herself in need of the First Aid Kit later. “Juuuude!”
The thought that this decision was a mistake made its way to Odessa’s mind eventually, after wandering for a while and finding no sign of the other girl. Was it sensible of her to have wandered off alone? No. It was an incredibly emotional decision and she detested herself for making it, but was it better than having a stress related breakdown by the waterfall? Yes. “Jude!” She hollered for the other girl again. Odessa had to commit to her choice. She wasn’t leaving this jungle unless she had the redhead in tow. There were so many things out of her control right now – her situation, her feelings – and she just wanted one win. If she could find Jude, this one victory could turn how she felt around, she knew it would.
