Ever the social Pokemon, Gabe often found himself having to stop whatever he was doing to find Lou whenever they ventured out in public. The Carbink was either found playing with other Pokemon, returning with other Pokemon, or hassling strangers for attention.
Gabe sighed, eyes scanning the streets of Laverre City. “Where has Lou gone now?”
He spied the Pokemon hovering around a small girl no older than eleven or twelve, forcing himself to lose the scowl when he approached in case he frightened her.
“Lou,” he whistled in an attempt to call the Pokemon back. No response. “Come on, I’ve got to me somewhere soon.” It seemed Lou was far too interested in the girl, hinting for a scratch behind the ear or a small treat. Gabe rubbed the back of his neck and exhaled loudly before he lowered himself to her height, somewhat awkward.
“Could you... get that Carbink for me?”
