Valeria is the epitome of a femme fatale type. Born in Mexico, she watched her family get nearly ruined by unscrupulous businessmen who cheated her father. Corruption kept them from getting punished.
Growing up into a beautiful woman and bitter over what happened to her family, she's learned how to get some payback. She works with a group of men. They target businessmen, usually ones who have morally questionable character or work for controversial companies.
The general mode of operation is Valeria "accidentally" meets the men in a bar or similar place wearing a dress that flatters her beauty just well enough to get the men's attention. She subtly flirts with the men. Bars are great because she can get them drinking and not thinking clearly. Valeria invites the man to her hotel room or sometimes, even an apartment temporarily rented for the job. He goes with her...and Valeria's cohorts are waiting to overpower, tie up, and gag the businessman. Valeria typically leaves at this point. The businessman is held for ransom. Valeria gets a significant cut of the money. The plan almost always works, especially when they have enough information for her to really know her target's likes and desires.
Valeria is fluent in Spanish, English, and French, passable in Italian and German, and knows a little bit of Portuguese, which helps with talking to her targets of various nationalities. She lives in a nice apartment in Paris, typically telling people she's a business consultant for work.
Lucía is her usual alias she uses. Its meaning originates from "light," which she thinks is ironic because her targets are blind to her intentions.
