Don’t miss it! Community Garden Tour and Brunch Ride, THIS SUNDAY July 14, 9:00 am @jvteachingfarm
What: Come join us THIS SUNDAY, July 14 for an easy-paced group ride to several community gardens around downtown Birmingham, Avondale, and Southside. The ride will be less than 10 miles in length and brunchy snacks will be provided along the way.
Ride starts: at 9am Jones Valley Teaching Farm (JVTF), located at the corner of 25th Street and 7th Avenue North. please arrive a few minutes early to snack, fill water bottles and socialize before we roll out.
Cost: for the brunch and bike tour is a tax-deductible donation of $10 or more to Jones Valley Teaching Farm. Proceeds from the ride (or "food crawl") will go to Jones Valley Teaching Farm's online campaign to expand their Good School Food Program.
This donation can be made on the day of the bike tour, or prior to the event via JVTF's campaign website.
