Dear Brothers & Sisters, Today June 21, 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the wrongful imprisonment of the entire board of directors of the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society, including its president J.F Rutherford. These faithful men were sentenced to 20 years imprisonment on trumpeted up charges of sedition, instigated by the Roman Catholic Clergy, apostates and opposers in the ranks of the US government of the day. After the war fever subsided, the case was reviewed on appeal in 1919 and our dear brothers were exonerated. The charges were dropped and all were set free to get to work on the greatest preaching campaign ever undertaken, as the message was proclaimed: "Advertise, Advertise, Advertise the King and his Kingdom"! #jwheritage #jw #jwhistory #jwonly
