It kind of bothers me that people use the ''age gap'' between Tylor and Johnny to say the ship is bad.
I don't care if people don't like the ship, but some people complain about Tylor's age, saying ''he's just a kid'' and Johnny is an adult married man but..........
Y'all.... Tylor is not a ''kid'' he's a grown-ass man.... he's a recent college grad, sure, he's a young adult about 22, maybe 23, but last time I checked, 22 is not a ''child''. 22 is above the age of consent. 22 is old enough to make your own decisions. 22 is old enough to drink and drive. Tylor still lives at home with his parents and grandmother because they're financially struggling and that's not unheard of in this day and age esp. in today's economy but Tylor is still an independent adult working 40 hours a week he is not a ''kid'' in the pure sense of the word. He's a recently graduated college ''kid'' but he's still an adult. So a 22 year old and a 40-something year old isn't that weird imho some of y'all be acting like 22 is a 15 or 16 year old ''baby. '' That Tylor is being ''groomed'' or the ship is predatory...
I just don't see a 20 year age gap as that insane... if Johnny was 55 or 60 or 70, it would be a different story.. but it's honestly common these days for 20 year olds and 40 year olds to date. if they're both consenting adults, it's not an issue.
If everyone hates the ship for other reasons, I'm okay with that... but using ''age'' as an excuse is just dumb.... they're both adults.
