Dear Yonghwa person I have a crush on,

I love how we’re pretending it’s not totally obvious. Remember how I told you that everyone in the air can feel it, when we’re together? It’s palpable. But let’s pretend anyway. I like you, very, very much so. I didn’t know I was going to like you so much when we met, and certainly didn’t know it until I kissed you that one night, where the world was so perfect, that night that dreams dream of. I love how much you feel, baby. I love your transparent heart. I know I can’t protect you from everything, certainly not your own emotions or your nightmares, but I promise to always try to be there for you and I am willing to wage a war with your demons if it means you sleep a little easier. When I shared with you my idiocy and past sins, I could tell you understood them to a degree that no one has understood before. I think, that what we all crave, is something who truly, deeply understands. Like they can read your soul like a book, recite it like a poem, and sing it like a song. I love how comfortable I am around you, how much I can play with you, but also how you stir my heart like it’s a drink in your hands, and I am yours to taste. I hope this letter will be one of the many I dedicate for you, my love, my paradise, my soul’s mate (I just realised I hadn't said I love you yet and I don’t really know where I can put that in this letter but I hope that, maybe, you can feel it in the commas and the dotted ‘i’s, in this brief letter’s foundation, because I do, very much so, love you). I found writing this so hard, because I cannot pin down the right words (and these are not the right words, but writing is writing and I have living with you to do right now). But I promise, I will try and try and try and try and try again. If you’ll let me. (Oh, please let me.)
