You don't visit Tash Rabat by accident. You drive for hours, the asphalt disappears, and then a stone caravanserai appears in a green valley with no one else around.

Kel-Suu demands a border permit and a high-clearance 4x4. When you finally see the turquoise water against dry mountains, you understand why.

Jyrgalan feels like the edge of the world — trekking trails, yurt stays, and nothing else.

Son-Kul is better known, but the gravel pass (3,350 m) keeps most tourists away. Yurt camps, horses, and a sky full of stars.

Saimaluu Tash is the hardest to reach. Thousands of petroglyphs scattered across a remote mountain plateau. Not for everyone. Perfect for those who make the effort.
