I really liked reading your addition to that post! since you seem like a good person to ask, are there other movies you could rec with "putting people into a metaphorical pressure cooker"? (I love that in kdramas like SFH and obv I've seen Parasite)

and then my all time favorite film:

and then some others:
- peppermint candy (1999)
- the housemaid (1960 or 2010, both are good for different reasons )
- JSA (2000)
- sunflower (2006)
and then 2 that are based on history that i mentioned in the post, which i think are really important to watch:
- a taxi driver (2017) about the Gwangju Massacre
- 1987: when the day comes (2017) about the 1987 democracy protests
