HALF MAN S01S06
Ghosts
Someone said River seems to be unconsciously emulating Harkness and his half brothers, and now I can’t get that out of my head so hear you go :))
So far I am very much enjoying the new season and I’m so so excited to keep watching!!
Heed the Hollow, Malcolm Tariq
And here is the Maelle piece I did for CF22! ❤️🌹
it won't be like this all the time, part v - river/spider
explicit | 90k | ongoing → part i / part ii / part iii / part iv
“You’ve not said a word to me since I got here, and since everyone else has taken the time to berate me for something, I thought it only fair to give you the chance.”
Unlike the past, there’s not a lot of anger in the attempt—it’s mostly just kind of sad, which makes it harder to be angry at. But it still rubs him the wrong way. Leave it to River to always play the victim in a situation that he created.
“Doesn't self-pity ever get tiresome for you?”
“Doesn’t self-righteousness ever get tiresome for you?”
There’s barely any heat in it now. The words carry a distinct lack of that directionless anger River’s been made up of since the moment they’d seen each other in Taverner’s office; it’s more like defeat. A drowning man’s last attempt at a fight he knows he won’t win so he can die thinking well, at least I tried.
i cannot put into words how fucking incredible this fic is nor can i explain what it does to me. i actually cannot breathe rn

is this ship popular because it’s legitimately compelling or is it popular because it’s the easiest to decontextualize and write college roommate AUs about?
this post broke containment and is getting ‘let people have fun and enjoy things’ comments, so i want to clarify that i hate fun and want to personally bludgeon everyone who has ever written a college roommate AU with a hammer

when a tv show doesn't shy away from portraying fucked up themes, and there's love in the violence and the characters are doomed and codependent and there's a power imbalance and the cycle keeps repeating and they're miserable with and without each other and also they’re gay
Because I liked it. I like being the provider.

Finally finished my E33 tribute piece ❤️
Have you ever tried using your stature to intimidate someone? How many times has just standing up been enough to make them feel small?
