finally getting back to answering the couple of these I've got left...I mean, this one is basically what it says on the tin, started writing it for whumptober laaast year? and maybe I'll finish by whumptober of this year but who can say. really this was just "excuse to fuck vegas up in a different way than I've done otherwise" and honestly for whatever reason it's feeling very sticky to me. probably because I'm self-conscious about it and that always gets in the way of these things.

About halfway through the dinner, Vegas set down his glass of wine and didn’t pick it up again. Pete registered it as unusual, since he’d expressed appreciation of the vintage earlier, but no more than that and only in passing, a detail picked up more by habit than anything else. 

It felt very weird to be sitting at the table and not standing in one of the corners. Even weirder to be sitting directly across from Khun Kinn, though if he felt anything it wasn’t showing; he’d been as perfectly friendly to Pete as he’d been cold to Vegas.

hmm. music, i think. i don't know that i have a 'why' though. music has always deeply affected me. i loved singing in the chorus when i was a kid, but i would always cry when i was up on the stage singing. my mother couldn't understand why i would willingly do something that made me cry. i always get this...idk, this warm-inside feeling from music, i guess? it moves me.

the first one that comes to mind is lee chang jin from 'beyond evil' lol. he's so awful with his evil smile and his pompadour and his stupid ascots. he's the worst and i fucking love him haha
