it was late at night when you left your village for your quest. the wind rustles the leaves on the trees that are located just outside your village.
there had been rumors going around in your city about there being werewolves in the forest, but you didn't believe it. the forest was quite small, any werewolf would be caught the moment you stepped foot into the forest.
yet, you, someone who had been around this village for some time had never seen a werewolf in the forest. so, naturally you took the path through the forest to leave for your quest.
you look up at the sky and your eyes meet a full moon staring back at you. it illuminates the path you're walking on.
suddenly, you hear something rustling in the bushes next to you. your heart beats in your throat, could there be werewolves here after all?
the rustling stops and you speed up a little. only after a few minutes of silence you slow down again. why was it that you were suddenly scared?
you're so lost in your thoughts that you miss the figure standing a small distance away from you. the shadow of the figure has ears and a tail, and for some reason it doesn't click yet that you were indeed looking at a werewolf.
you can see his head turn to you, and you consider running away. never had you ever actually encountered a werewolf before.
when you get closer, the moonlight slowly reveals his face. he has dark hair, and his face isn't as you had expected. he looks somewhat young, and quite handsome too.
he finally sees you standing there, observing him. you tense up a little, but so does he.
unexpectedly, he flashes a smile, a smile that says "don't be scared, i'm not going to do anything".
you smile back, and before you know it he has run away, into the woods again.
