Tbh I don’t know if there’s much we can do at this point. I’ve talked to many people and most people say they don’t like Zeus because all he does is cheat on his wife. While I can explain that this sort of behavior was normal in ancient Greece, there are some people who are unwilling to listen because they think they already know everything there is to know, for example, Hades is a rapist and pedophile, when this person doesn’t even know how ancient Greek weddings worked, not to mention how much they took these gods out of their ancient context.

It’s things like that where I avoid reading what these sorts of people think, because they aren’t worth my precious time and I’m just so tired from all this. I’ll talk to people and try to explain it to them when it comes up irl or in my posts/blog/inbox, but that’s all I can do, really. I don’t like arguing on the internet that much, it’s very stressful for me and just never ends up well. I like making friends and having nice conversations.

Not to mention, Greek mythology was never realistic or accurate in the first place in the DC comics so I don’t know what that post was trying to do lmao. It’s a comic book movie and an adaption of the Greek myths, they’re going to be as accurate as Disney’s Hercules and PJO.
