Suddenly remembered an ask where it said that Rain would roast a taller MC and Kile would roast a shorter one. So now I’m wondering; would this extend to other characters as well? In the case that Rain and Kile become friends, would they be back and forth roasting each other for their heights?

I haven't decided on an exact word yet, but the likelihood of Kile referring to Rain as something akin to a "goblin" is very, very high. Although, honestly... I feel like Kile reserves most of their short jokes for a short MC and Vi. Short jokes don't get under Rain's skin, so Kile has to go a different route to properly get a rise out of them 😆

but yeah, Kile's height is fair game for Rain. of course it is!

Kile's had her since she was a little puppy.

She's got one eye!

She takes some warming up to get comfy, but her temperament is the opposite of Kile's in a lot of (adorable) ways.

Her favorite outdoor activity is swimming :)

She doesn't fuck with the woods around the Moore Estate anymore.

Oh, good question! I think they'd always prefer partner. Kile hates gendered descriptors if they can be avoided!

Do you think Kile might also be demiromantic (or, if not, are you opposed to the headcanon)? Because as an aro-spec person, I look at them and I'm like...👀👀👀 especially with the fact that they never had a crush on someone, but will get one if romanced by the MC (cause I'm assuming that you kinda HAVE to bond bond at this point), and they could have a relationship with Gabe specifically in the future

Just wanted to share a funny thought I had upon rereading the demo.

Basically just when there's the option to have Gabe be your crush, I was thinking about that being an option for Kile, and just imagining how that's play out. Just like:

Some kid at school: "Don't go near that Kile kid, I heard their parents put them up for adoption for being too violent" New Kid leaning in closer, intrigued: "go on"

omg you're so right 😆😆 This actually sums up pretty well why I haven't had the prior crush option open for them 😂 It feels like quite the narrative... leap to introduce to the audience that the MC can have that sort of questionable judgment before they've even started getting involved with wild stuff 😅 Like it's def not out of character for some people's New Kids, but I'd like to keep the narrative expectations within general reason at the beginning LOL

Yes! If your friendship with an RO is high enough by then, you can choose to have a hangout with both your parents and theirs. Parents in the setting aren't Super Important until Book 2, but the MC for sure has a chance to meet, form an opinion about, and make an impression on all of them!

...Except the Emersons 😅
