"Its K-DEUCE. I'm 17,I was born and raised in Plain Dealing,Louisiana.Influenced to rhyme by my father and uncle who formed a rap group called G.H.Y. I started writing lyrics around about the age eight or nine and instantly fell in love with the art form.The oldest of five children so i had a big load to carry on my shoulders.When middle school came i was infatuated with the world and my only desire was to be a thug and so i stopped focusing so much on my music.I was definitely headed down the wrong direction but the universe had something different in mind. My eighth grade year i ended up going to a private school and it changed my whole outlook on life.I started playing sports and excelled in my classes. My desire for knowledge and to question authority always seemed to get me into mischief though. At fifteen i fell back in love with music and vowed to never leave it alone.I feel like my mission to kick knowledge and wisdom and lead by example hence i call myself the ghetto messenger." - K-DEUCE
