2003 Kawasaki ZX12-R
A motorcycle provided courtesy of K-MaxX, Recklinghausen, while the Öhlins cartrides of the 1050 Speed Triple SE are send back to Öhlins again, checked and (hopefully correctly) equipped with shim packages that better fit to backroad riding at sane and legal(-ish) speeds.
Talk about sane speed levels: The 1200 ccm engine of the big green Kwak is very docile at low speeds. On an unlimited stretch of Autobahn the Kawasaki also shines: Stable, powerful (Up to 180 hp at the crank, any questions?) and everything happens in a surprisingly civilized manner. The clip-ons positioned 2 cm higher, this would make an excellent sports touring bike (for me at least).
Kermit would approve... 🐸
