Hey, Rink! I think a lot of the things you talk about are why ultimately this relationship probably won’t last. We already know that the NHL has a much higher rate of divorces post retirement than other professional sports. But their relationship will especially be difficult for her because she does like the limelight.
She has a TikTok where she talks about her life and she makes it sound like she’s a self-made millionaire when actually she got a lot of what she has now because she had a sugar daddy (Weiner).
I don’t think she’s changed. She might have changed for now. Her past behaviour wasn’t just messy it was downright nasty.
nhl divorce rates are definitely higher, but like you said, most of that happens once these guys call it quits and retire and just because the odds are high it doesn't always mean it's going to happen. so even if you and others don’t think it’ll last long, she’ll probably still be around for 8–10 years until he hits retirement age, and maybe even beyond that.
i know she’s done questionable things in the past, and with the la lifestyle i’m sure there’s more she’s done to sustain that image and get access to a certain caliber of men. still, i’ll give her some credit for how she handled this relationship early on. keeping it private for as long as she did. also have noticed she's putting in effort to try to learn and adapt to petey's culture as well.
something tells me she's going to be acting more in line with petey even if her track record was very questionable, i'm doubting she's pulling the same shit on him. that's just how i feel. she secured the hardest part aka a ring.
we’ll just have to wait and see how this marriage plays out, they still have a lot of years ahead of them.
