[ Kayne is being watched. They have been for days.
They stare at their computer monitor, their index finger nervously tapping on the edge of the keyboard. They subtly looked at their surroundings, trying to figure out if anyone’s there. Nothing. The room is empty of life–except for them. Kayne lets out a breath that is noticeably shaky as they close their fits with such pressure that their knuckles start turning white. They try to think of what–if anything–they should do. They can’t call anyone for something with no proof, can they? So instead they decide to stay silent. All the hair on their body standing still and they kept themself busy with mindless clicking of the buttons on their keyboard. ]
