Trip to KYOTO, August 2020 - Day1 Night in Kyoto

Good Evening from surprisingly quiet Kyoto, when there are no tourists in the city. We had a walk around Ninenzaka, where the hotel is located, and then went to have dinner at Shijo-Kawaramachi.

おばんどす。夜の京都からおおくりいたします。観光客がいないと、こんなにも京都は静かなんですね。ホテルのある二寧坂あたりを散歩した後に、四条・河原町の方へ晩ご飯に行ってきました。

ご飯を食べに四条の方までいったのですが、良さげなお店はなく。ちゃんと調べて予約しておくべきだった。。。

とりあえず適当なお店でおばんざいを。（なんか大学生がお店の運営をしているレベルのかんじで、ドリンクもフードもまずくはないんだけど雑多なかんじだった〜。市場で買ってきたお惣菜の味、程度のクオリティで残念。）

「季の美」のジントニックをいただきながら、マスターと京都のあれやこれやをお話。

■K36 K36 | The Bar & Rooftop

Bar琥珀から遠くに見えたルーフトップバーが気になって、LO前に滑り込みで訪問した「The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Kiyomizu」のルーフトップバー。

そんなに高層階ではないのですが、周りの建物が低いのでいい感じに夜景が見えるし、天気も良くて気持ち良い。

ドリンクメニューは普通かな〜。閉店前でバー利用のみなのにガッツリチャージが取られたので（当たり前っちゃ当たり前なんだけど）、行くなら早めの時間が良いかと思います。デスクの真鍮のライトが可愛い。

Meet the Matrilines: The K14′s

The K14′s have a total of 4 members, although they’re not always at the surface at the same time. 

From 2014-2016, the K14′s spent a lot of time traveling with J pod Group A. During 2017, they were seen with J pod briefly. In July 2019, K pod spent two days along the west side, departed for the open ocean, and did not return until August 15. In the fall and winter of 2019, K pod was seen with J pod along the west side of San Juan Island, north in the Strait of Georgia, and also in the Puget Sound. 

K14 Lea - Female, daughter of K3 Sounder, mother of K26 Lobo, K36 Yoda, K42 Kelp, sister of K16 Opus, aunt of K35 Sonata. She is 43 years old. 

K26 Lobo - Male, son of K14 Lea, brother of K36 Yoda and K42 Kelp, nephew of K16 Opus, cousin of K35 Sonata. He travels close to his mother and is 27 years old. He travels close to his mother. 

K36 Yoda - Female, daughter of K14 Lea, sister of K26 Lobo and K42 Kelp, neice of K16 Opus, cousin of K35 Sonata. She is most often seen with her immediate family, but has been seen traveling with J51 Nova. She is 17 years old. 

K42 Kelp - male, son of K14 Lea, brother of K26 Lobo and K36 Yoda, nephew of K16 opys, cousin of K35 Sonata. He is most often seen with his mother or brother and is 12 years old.
