Fruitful collaboration at the K4Dev conference: Gil Regev, Leif Edvinsson, Véronique Sikora, Pavel Kraus
Just reflecting on the overall tone of the K4Dev contributions. So many talks emphasize the role of knowledge in collaboration, communities, learning and development. But this nothing new. Humankind has managed knowledge since the antiquity. We do not do Knowledge Management a good service, if we just recapitulate old obvious trivias in new words. Goal of knowledge management is to change human behavior (Richard Bryan-Cox). In order to be successful we have to find what does KM provide that is useful, new, different and therefore adding value. I am grateful that some speakers have identified in their K4Dev talks exactly what made a difference if compared to the past. Be it in processes, techniques or attitude.
