See the thing is that like, knight/royal is a pretty alright dynamic to play with, you've got the whole "I'm sworn to thee" thing, the whole "Martial vs societal power" thing, all that, but I do just kinda prefer Knight4Knight stuff because like. I genuinely just think that no amount of sneaking away to kiss at feasts or gentle courting in the castle gardens could ever match the raw sex appeal of two sweaty filthy hairy blood-spattered knights having nasty raw clanking sex hiding from their superiors or whatever after a battle, adrenaline running high after a fight just and too fucking horny and full of need to even think about taking off their armor just frantically clawing at the garments beneath them barely able to expose enough of themselves to fuck
